Day 88 (Phase II): More of Me Gone

Total Pounds Lost: 24
Wii Fit Age: 38!
EA Sports Active Day: 10 of 30-Day Challenge

So another pound plus has melted away - hooray! It hasn't been that hard lately, except that working out has proven to be a bit of a challenge. My knees and back have good days and bad...on the bad I can only do Wii Fit (like today).

I am feeling lighter for the first time - which feels amazing. I am trying not to let the depression of a lack of job and income cause me to backslide...so fingers crossed and nothing but good thoughts for me and my struggle, I hope.

Hopefully, I will be able to do EASA tomorrow.

Day 83 (Phase II): Back on Track

Total Pounds Lost: 22.6
Wii Fit Age: 21
EA Sports Active Day: 8 of 30-Day Challenge

Apparently, the EASA is finally paying off (or beginning to). Today was a big boxing day and it was a lot of fun - but my left punches don't seem to be as strong as my right. As Heather says, I'll do better.

My balance is significantly improved using the EASA. Just check out my Wii Fit Age. I certainly don't feel 15 years younger than I am. But I will take it!

I decided to make yesterday a day of rest instead of today so that I could go see a movie and not worry about getting in a work-out in the morning...lazy-ass, I know. But today was good. I find doing the exercise in the morning significantly improves my energy for the day.

It feels good to be back losing again. I was a bit discouraged when I hit that plateau, but now I feel energized once again.

Day 78 (Phase II): A Mini-Back Slide

Total Pounds Lost: 20
Wii Fit Age: N/A
EA Sports Active Day: 3 of 30-Day Challenge

So I have finally begun to use the EA Sports Active program on my Wii. Talk about kicking my butt into shape! Luckily, yesterday was a mandated day of rest. I have walked, run, lunged, curled, and tennised (okay, I know that is not a verb).

My backslide was actually just before I left for California for a week. I did a pretty good job losing (or staying) at my weight while I was gone. Now that I have been back for almost a week, I am back on track. So I am hoping by tomorrow or Wednesday, I will be back at my 21 pounds lost mark...maybe even more.

I highly recommend the EASA for a great and organized workout. I am working my way through Bob's 30-day challenge...we'll see how this goes. Thanks to Heather, I got a great workout Saturday after my EASA workout helping paint her dining room...that counts!

Day 57 (Phase II): Another One Bites the Dust

Total Pounds Lost: 21
Wii Fit Age: N/A

I'm happy to say that even with a splurge on Friday, I never lost any steam. I am on track (or at least I think I am).

Things are going well - I am still doing Wii Fit every day no matter what. It helps keep me moving and motivated. Plus, my friends and their motivational pledges help me stay motivated as well.

I'm very lucky to have such supportive and amazing friends.

Tomorrow is another day and I just keep on trekking.

Day 52 (Phase II) : Migraine Madness

Total Pounds Lost: 20
Wii Fit Age: N/A

Another day another pound.

So today I am in migraine hell, so feeling good isn't really an option. I was terribly ill this morning, but it is a Wednesday, so we had errands to run. Running errands is a chore, but it distracted me.

We were out and about and hungry (and at Home Depot), so we went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch. I was very smart in my food choices - salad with fat free dressing and a low fat soup. I only splurged for a half of a low-fat corn muffin. Dessert is always an option here since they have fat free yogurt. Yummmm. I skipped the chocolate syrup and caramel sauce.

Did the Wii Fit for another 30 minutes today, but my performance was spotty due to my tunnel vision and lack of balance. I still got it done.

Here is hoping the migraine disappears soon and I am back feeling good. It isn't worth it losing the pounds if I don't feel good!

Day 51 (Phase II) : Wii Fitter

Total Pounds Lost: 19.5
Wii Fit Age: 39

So the pounds keep coming off, at least for now. I will continue my current plan of shrinking my stomach and Wii Fitting daily. I even have Mom on the WF every day now.

It has been a tough week as things seem to be progressing in life without Dad. The kitchen is complete (well mostly) but we aren't really cooking in it. I grilled the other day for our first cooked meal using the new counters/cabinets. Grilled steak and corn and world's smallest baked potato. Luckily, not pounds were added (none were lost either).

So the plan is to cook one meal a week for ourselves (yet healthy) and continue with the mostly Lean Cuisine-type dinners. I have a large salad every night filled with veggies and low fat vinaigrette dressings and have low cal snacks whenever I feel too hungry. So far, so good.

My plan is to hit my goal on Wii Fit (5 more pounds) before I leave for my July vacation to SF on the 23rd. Time flies.

Day I Don't Know

Total Pounds Lost: 18
Wii Fit Age: 37

So after a rough year (laid off by EarthLink, re-injuring my back and Dad passing away) I am back at it again. For fear of complete and utter failure, I did not tell anyone I was doing this until I was well on my way. So if you made a pledge, you will be getting an email from me about this and giving you the chance to either a) back out or b) restate your intended pledge.

Thanks to everyone :)
